Getting started
What Itineru is
Itineru helps you work out what to do, whether you are on the other side of the world or looking for something to do on a Saturday at home. It builds itineraries for you, narrates them if you want, keeps track of what you spend, and remembers the places you have been.
It is just as much for an afternoon in your own city as for two weeks abroad.
Signing in
You can sign up with an email address and a password, or sign in with an account you already have. If you sign in with an existing account and Itineru does not yet have a username for you, it will ask you to pick one, and then ask a few questions about the kind of things you enjoy.
For the details, see Creating an account, Signing in, and Resetting your password.
Those preferences are not set in stone. You can change them later under Profile, then Edit Profile, then Travel Preferences.
The five tabs
Along the bottom of the screen there are five buttons.
- Explore. Ideas near you, featured itineraries, and featured road trips. There is a search box at the top, and an orange sparkle button that opens the Generate menu.
- Audio. Your audio guides. See Immersive audio.
- Saved. Everything you have saved: your itineraries, your trips, your saved places. There is a search box at the top.
- Profile. Your account, your settings, help, and legal.
- The plus button. In the middle. It opens a menu of things you can start right now.
Maven is always one tap away
Wherever you are in the app, there is a small floating button for Maven. Tap it to open the chat. If you are looking at an itinerary at the time, Maven will already know which one you mean.
Your plan
Itineru has a free plan, called Explorer, and a paid plan, called Itineru+.
- Explorer lets you build itineraries by hand and save a limited number of them. The AI-powered features, including Discoveries, Road Trip, Quick Find and audio guides, are not included.
- Itineru+ unlocks the AI-powered planning and audio.
You can see which plan you are on, and what it includes, under Profile, then Settings, then Account, Plan and Billing.
Getting help
Under Profile, then Get Help, you can send feedback, report a bug, request a feature, contact support, report a safety concern, or replay the short tour of the app.
