Getting there

Go to the Profile tab, then Account Settings. Everything below lives in there.

Edit Profile

Your name, your photo, your bio, and your travel preferences.

Your travel preferences are the things you told Itineru you enjoy when you signed up. They shape what it suggests. You can change them whenever you like, and you should, because what you are in the mood for changes.

Account, Plan and Billing

Shows which plan you are on, what it includes, and how much of it you have used.

Explorer is the free plan. Build itineraries by hand, with a limited number of saves. The AI-powered features are not included.
Itineru+ is the paid plan. It includes AI-powered Discoveries, Road Trips, Quick Find and audio guides.

You manage the subscription itself through your app store account, in the usual way.

Audio and Voice

Choose the voice engine, and the narrator voice for your audio guides. Tap play to preview a voice before you pick it. This section needs an Itineru+ plan. See Immersive audio.

Appearance

Choose Light, Dark, or System. System follows whatever your phone is set to.

Regional

Set your default currency. It is the currency your trip budgets and the exchange rates are shown in. See Currency and exchange rates.

Notifications and Permissions

Tour ready notifications - a gentle ping when an itinerary you asked for has finished generating and is ready to look at. Nothing else is pushed at you.
Location - powers the "Near You" suggestions and lets Itineru start an itinerary from where you actually are.
Microphone - only used when you tap the microphone to speak instead of type.

Each of these can be turned off, and the app carries on working without them. It just knows less.

Data and Storage

Clear Cached Images - frees up space. The images are downloaded again next time you need them.
Clear All Cached Data - resets everything Itineru is holding on your phone. Anything cleared here can be re-downloaded next time you open an itinerary.
Download My Data - exports everything Itineru stores about you.
Delete Account - permanently closes your account.

Accessibility

Itineru is built to be readable and tappable, not just pretty.

Every button you need to press is a proper size, so it is easy to hit.
Text is sized to be read, not squinted at.
Dark mode is a real dark mode, not a dimmed light mode.
Nothing in the app counts down at you, rushes you, or tells you that you are behind. There are no streaks, no badges, and no pressure to finish anything.
